This little guy was out in 30 minutes from pip, not hours! I anticipated it be tomorrow, or in the morning atleast. The light bulb is broken off and stuck in the heat lamp threads. I can't get it out to turn on the heat for them! I was hoping my husband could get it when he got home from work in the morning. Brooder box isn't ready!! How long can little guy stay in the incubator? He hatched at 8:30 pm c.

Unplug the bulb and grab the center with pliers and unscrew the socket by grabbing the center filament base.
I know how to get it out, i just literally can't, lol. I couldn't find my needle nose pliers and regular pliers just wasnt budging it. I broke the center and everything down to the threads. I was doing more damage than anything. My husband has the needle nose in his truck toolbox id say.

Your little one can easily stay in the incubator for 24 hours or more while you make the brooder box ready. Best to have at least two to take out so they can keep each other company in the brooder. ☺️
They need to be all fluffed up and dry anyway before you take them out.
Thank you! The box should be nice, cozy, and ready for them by then 🥰
