A chick hatched while I was at work today but it had just pipped so went from pip to hatch in about 8 hours? It is a serama, and while it’s hatch matches all hatched around day 18-19, this little one took its time and hatched today, day 23.
it’s been in the incubator for at least a few hours. It’s fluffing up nicely, interactive and up and running around as normal.
however I noticed these weird little white balls attached to her bum… I’ve hatched many eggs and never seen this before… does anyone know what this is or if she needs any extra care?
i apologize if this is posted in the wrong place! I’m quite concerned she is ill??
