Help - chick trouble

I have one baby chick that is acting odd. Separate from the rest. I even was able to pick it up without him running away. I dipped his beak in water and he is not drinking. His food pouch (not sure what it is called) is not full like the others. I tried to feed it cooked pumpkin which they seem to love and it wouldn’t take it. I’m very new to this and have no idea how to proceed. The momma came close to it and didn’t seem to care. It’s almost like if the chick is blind. Is that possible from one day to the next? They all seemed well yesterday and this morning I didn’t see anything off. He’s alone chirping but the mom doesn’t come for it.

Thank you. I think it is blind. I put my finger in front of its eyes and it doesn’t move.
