Hi, we have just recently bought 4 chicks, they're around 4 weeks old now and two of them have toes curling inwards. Photos attached. How can I fix this? One has this issue on both feet, and one just one foot. I have heard it could be a vitamin deficiency? [IMG]

Thanks for the link. Unfortunately the chicks have managed to peck the shoes off twice. We now have another that we'd incubated showing signs of curled toes and turned in foot.

I've had good results using elastic bandaging (Vetrap) - it's sticky enough to be difficult for the chick (or others) to remove. A "slingback" (piece that goes around the back of the foot, like the part of a slingback shoe) really helped it stay on, too.

Time is of the essence with curled toes and other leg issues. Good luck!
