HELP ! DAY 13 AND IVE CRACKED MY SILKIE HATCHING EGG :'0(

Please can someone help its day 13 in the incubator and ive dropped one of my eggs and cracked it , it started to bleed but not a lot . ive put some damp tissue around it and its now stopped bleeding . what im asking will the chick bleed to death or can it go on to hatch ? im very upset and cant beleive ive dropped it . im having a problem with my right hand and thats why im not clumsey or rough !! crack is to the left as you look at it and that s shape is pencil s for silkie . i have wrapped the tissue around the crack end now

Seal it with some wax?

I'm know I've read of people doing that with shipped eggs when they inspect them upon arrival....

Use a birthday candle. It's cooler than ordinary candle wax when melted. Good luck!

I use tealight candle wax. I simply melt the wax & pour onto the egg. Some develop & hatch, some don't. You have about a 50/50 chance.

ive melted candle wax on it and then candled it and chick is still alive

so keep ya fingers crossed
