    Hi,
I am currently treating my chickens for tapeworms and one of my dogs got into the chicken run and ate some poop. I have given my chickens two dosing of Valbazen 10 days apart from one another. The last dosing was 5 days ago. Do I need to worry about my dog getting tapeworm? Also will the Valbazen get her sick? She got diarrhea shortly after eating it.

    Thanks

Hmmm, what did your vet say? When did she eat it?

Tapeworms don't normally infect different species.
Just don't let the dog lick you in the face anytime soon

There's not enough wormer in the droppings to have any effect on the dog

    Thanks for the link. [IMG]

She just ate it, so I didn't call the vet yet. From the sounds of it she should be ok.

Thanks Bear Foot Farm, this makes me feel better.

Oh, and she is not coming near me with that tongue for quite some time! [IMG]
