Just picked up two of these cuties from the feed store. My first chickens!! Problem is, the teenager at the store didn't know what breed they are. A lady walking by suggested they may be Silver Laced Wyandottes? Any thoughts? I would love to read about this breed and not wait til they are full grown to figure out their breed. Any thoughts on how old they might be?
    Thanks for any help!!!!

Single comb, black feathers, and pink feet bottoms probably australorps..but they could be something else. Look to be around 1 1/2 months old. If you can you need to go back and get at least 2 more, so that if one happens to die, you won't have only one left that will get depressed.

Australorps would be my first guess also--most common breed with those characteristics.
