This is my first time having ducklings. I have read that baby ducklings need 20 - 22%protein for the first two weeks of life then it goes down to 16 - 18% till 12 weeks. I doubt I will find feed with 20-22% protein. I have not been to the feed store yet but I have looked on line. If I cant find unmediated starter food with the level of protein I need how can I supplement my ducks diet so they get all the protein they need? I know that ducklings can only eat certain things.... Also, what is the level of niacin that my ducklings need? I know that the starter feed will more then likely not have enough. I just need to know how much they need in order to give them what they are missing. I have herd that if you give too much Niacin it can cause problems... help!
