I have a Turkey chick with wry neck do any of you know any cures? Help!
@R2elk ? @TurkeyTimes ? I’ve already tagged casportpony above.
You should post it in the turkey forum instead. Maybe call the Little one a poult instead of a chick. (Said with love. Just saving a lot of people correcting you there) I hope to god there’s a remedy. I’ve never had this. Looks scary.
Wry neck is a cull. I've never been able to fix it.
I was afraid this was the answer. Damn.
Wry neck is wry neck whether it is a chick or a poult. There are many posts in this forum dealing with wry neck and the remedies attempted. The OP's post is in the correct forum.
Search this forum for wry neck cure to come up with previous posts and how the people dealt with it.
It is my understanding that wry neck can have different causes from vitamin B deficiency to botulism, etc. I believe that the most common treatment is with vitamin E. In some cases it may be helpful to give a good vitamin B complex.
She healed she has a little bit of a tilted neck but doing great.
