Help guinea dies graphic photo

She was fine all day then my husband came home from work and said one of the guineas was having a problem breathing. I went out and picked her up and she died in my arms.
She had no injuries that I could see until I turned her over and she add a bulge from her bottom. Here is a photo. Graphic

knowing nothing else, it sounds like she had a prolapse...the bulge you mentioned
and all too many times like with chicken hens you can try and push back in but
most hens die or have recurring prolapses...

Here is the photo she was born June 8 th this year. This is my first year raising chickens and guineas. Not sure I'm ready to have them die so young

I could be wrong but think it was a vent prolapse....
again, so sorry for your loss...losing any of our "babies" is very hard ...

I thought that they had to be older to have a vent prolapse. I am prying that the rest of my family will be ok.. Thank you for your advice...

I am not an expert by any means...
it just sounds like and looks like vent prolapse....

hopefully someone with more knowledge will see your thread and answer...
