    I need some help...

I got into chickens because of a friend. I've hatched 2 of her eggs. Both of the chicks from 2 separate hatchings have died at about 1 week...

I have 7 chicks that I've bought at a day old that are all doing fine...

She's hatched her own eggs with limited success...

I'm really concerned because I've bought eggs to hatch and set them yesterday. This morning my week old hatching died unexpectedly...

I know it's the circle of life, but I don't understand why the ones I bought at a day old are thriving, but the ones I hatched died.

I'm a nervous wreck that my silkies are going to die. I already know that the hatch rate is going to be way down.

    Any ideas?
