I started incubating 3 turkey eggs and it's almost the second week I have had them
I'm not sure how many days total the egg has been incubating (originally 3 but 2 of them like was leaking stuff, smelled and had no indication of life)
The last one I think is doing great with my dinky little "incubator"
It's not actually a real incubator just something I threw together with a heat lamp
When I first got the egg it already had an embryo developing inside
So I'm not sure exactly what day the egg is on
I have pictures but they aren't the best and by now I'm not sure whether I should be turning the egg still
Thanks for any advice 20190705_091538.jpg 20190705_091614.jpg

Turkey eggs take 28 days to hatch.

The first egg looks like it is rotten and I would either be very careful with it or dispose of it. The second is developing but is still not at lockdown stage. It does appear to have more than two weeks worth of development.

Oof the thing is both of those pictures are the same egg
I can clearly see it moving around in there lol
For some reason one side is darker and more full like that and the other side you can see more?
    Idk if that makes sense

If you use some foam or something similar around the light source, it will block the extraneous light and force the light into the egg making it easier to see what is going on.

Here is how I adapted the flashlight that I use.

I assume that the egg was partially incubated before you started to incubate it. It probably is around 21 to 24 days.
