OK. So I'm hatching some white and buff orps. The buffs look buff. But the white. [IMG] A whole other story. They look greyish in color and white on the back. As they dry up a little better I'll post some pictures. But I'm beginning to get really worried about the breed.
    Help me out ok?

Notice all the buffs. Theres a little guy who is different. What is it?

I hope you get your help...I think once they dry off and if you can get a dry picture that may help others. Where did you get your eggs from? What color legs do they have?

Sorry, but they'll have to fluff up before we can tell. The silvery one looks more like a splash or a light blue than a white. White birds usually start out yellowish as chicks.

I got the eggs from an ebay seller who did have great feedback. I'm just worried she sent me some of her dominiques instead. Here are more pics.

Don't worry about the gray color of the chick. It will feather out white. For white breeds that are sports of Black breeds such as White Jersey Giants and White Langshans the chicks are almost always gray or silver. That is what you are dealing with.
