Just went out to check on my broody hen sitting on 4 eggs. Stupid me picked up an egg & my hen turned to peck me and got the egg instead. She cracked it and the 20 day old egg has a live chick inside. I returned it to mom but now i worry she'll smother it. Advice please, I'm really worried and this is my first hatch.
