Help ID meat birds?

    I raised 75 cornishXs this January and they looked nothing like that. They should be pure white or mostly white, with none of those patterns on the wings. And yes, they should be MUCH bigger. Where did you get them?

    [​IMG]At tractor supply. I was actually on a list and the manager called me to tell me cornish rocks were in. I called last week and talked to a woman who has actually agricultural knowledge. She said that no one else had called about those chicks but that they came from Hoover Hatchery and we narrowed it down to hopefully either red rangers or rainbow rangers. Either way, oh well, still tastes like chicken. Lessons learned. Here's a pic taken today at 3 weeks. Obviously a roo.

    Looks like the Delaware chick's we bought this spring from our farm supply.

    They're more orange than that so hopefully not [​IMG] I did have a couple Delaware hens previously and they are awesome egg layers and beautiful birds. They're a really nice breed.
