My SO can home from the store with three baby chicks today but didn't know what kind they are. I found the sku and called the store. They told me they were auracanas, which we all is easter eggers. I think they meant the yellow one. I'm trying to figure out what the black ones with the yellow stars on their heads are.

I also have 2 black ones with a yellow spot I was told they are a black something crossed with red rocks (not sure if the rock is right but it is a red) I was told they are good layers and sitters. I also have black silkies I will try and remember the names of the breed better.

Do the black ones in the picture have feathered legs? I can't tell if I'm seeing feathers or shadows.

As for the black something crossed with red, do you mean black sex links?

That isn't a black sex link. Pullets are solid black, cockerels are black with a white head spot. Did these come from TSC by any chance?

Then yes, you have black sexlinks. Two boys, and two girls.
