We just received our ducklings today. We were supposed to receive 3 cayuga ducklings. I thought cayuga ducklings were supposed to be mostly all black. Do you think these are all Cayugas or could we have a different breed?

They don't look like cayugas to me. Which hatchery did you order from?

The dark one is a cayuga, the other 3 are not.

I'm thinking the black is a cayuga and the other 3 might be anconas.

I would call the hatchery and let them know you did not get what you ordered.

They are ancona's - without knowing where they came from, I didn't want to hazard a guess if the hatchery didn't sell them.
