I am a complete novice and seeking some help from you guys to help identify the gender of three chooks. They are 2 leghorns and 1 Isa brown. I have a suspicion that the isa brown is a ROO. they are 8-9 weeks old.

Those aren't leghorns, and that's not an Isa Brown, I'm sorry to say. Leghorns are pure white, and have bright yellow legs. Your 'Isa Brown' is a rooster, which would be impossible with that coloration if it was a real SL hybrid.

Not sure the breed but the brown one looks very much like a roo.

Don't know if you want a roo or not, so grats or sorry.

what breeds do you think they are then? i was told they were leghorns grrrrrrrrr

I figured it was a rooster. What about the other two? Do you think they are hens?

If I were to guess, I would say they're a egg-laying leghorn hybrid of some sort. The one with color coming through on it's feathers is most likely male, but the first whiter bird is female. You could probably just call the red one Production Red, or Barnyard Red.

do you think one of the white ones is a roo as well. man the wife isnt going to be happy when I have to kill them
