Ok so I have 42 eggs in an incubator right now. 12 from a friend of mine. 6 of my own. 24 from a hatchery. I just candled some and I was looking at mine and they were clouding in. I collected some that were around a week old from my hen who was sitting on them and then quit. All my other eggs are on the same day. What should I do with the ones that are clouding in? I don't have a brooder ready yet although it wouldn't take me long. I do mind of have a couple make shift incubators I could put them in. They are still being turned and at the humidity and temps of all the other eggs. What should I do???

    Any help is appreciated thanks.

There is an incubation and hatching thread where someone might answer your question quicker. When I have hatched the eggs get blood vessels first than turn dark and solid. I'm not familiar with them being cloudy, I think that means they aren't developing.

Could you clarify a little? You have 42 eggs in an incubator. It sounds like they were not all set at the same time. What kind of incubator are they in now? how many different hatch dates do you have?

He six were set about four hours earlier than the 24 eggs. Three of the six eggs had been under a hen for about a week and I was just risking it putting them in there. The twelve were set one day later. My mom told me that I should'nt move them. The only thing I'm really worried about is the turning.

What I mean by cloudy is getting dark and solid that's just what I think it looks like.
