Help me decide on a chicken coop

Ok, so you’d want a 60 square foot coop. I think 8 by 8 would be the best bet-you could have 16 then, or just have a little extra space.

I want 10-15 standard size chickens.

That's one I've got the math worked out for already.

15 hens

• 60 square feet in the coop. 8'x8' is easier to build than 6'x10'
• 15 feet of roost
• 150 square feet in the run. 10'x15', 12'x12' or 8'x20'
• 15 square feet of ventilation.
• 4 nest boxes.

..and you don't have a way to transport anything as big as what you need for your desired flock size.

Build a hoop coop. If necessary, pay the delivery charge and have the materials dropped on your lawn.

I think this one at TSC is a decent one that comes in a box so you don't need a trailer and won't take long to assemble, not any longer than modifying a shed.
It's 38 sq feet coop /3' per bird = 12.6 birds
So you can put 10-14 birds in here with your extra run space you have. Just need to add some predator wire as these look like too big of squares. I'd stick to more like 8-10 and see how they do.
It's up to you where you want to land between 2 sq per bird and 4 sq. Everyone is trying to help but a commercial farmer would laugh at 4' per bird. Depends on the breed, etc. If you are getting birds that handle confinement well put 15 in here and see how it goes. If not then just get 8. There's so many options, just roll with something you are comfortable with. They're still going to be better off than the ones stuck in a tiny cage in a commercial farm (not all of them are stuck in cages, just saying).

A commercial farmer uses intensive management including forced-air ventilation (carefully controlled with sensors for temperature and ammonia levels), and debeaking to prevent cannibalism due to over-crowding.

The usual guidelines are guidelines, not hard-and-fast rules, but as backyarders we can't use commercial standards unless we're wanting to adopt commercial practices.

Would this make a good walk in chicken coop or no?

It would be like an oven if the sun ever hit it. Depending on the weather where you are, it also would blow over pretty easily if you have strong winds. (You could make it so that can't happen of course, just costs more money and effort.)

No doubt but we're 15 pages in so I thought I'd look at a different page. I remember being overwhelmed and under budget. Really surprised when one of my first 4 from the pullet bin crowed at me! Sounds like OP is in a bit of a bind with limited build resources and transportation options for whatever is purchased. No budget has been shared so that would be helpful for some focus on what's possible.

If I could find something between $300 and $900 that would be awesome.
