once every 2 years a friend of mine does a huge order from Murray McMurray (i think that is the name) and i usually get 6 from her. This year she ordered a batch called "ornamental". i did go to their website but didnt find much. the chicks are about a month old
#1 is a barred rock
#2 looks like maybe a cochin? Fluffy legs...
#3 is a polish, maybe a hour an depending on how that hair comes out...
and no clue on the last two
just "googled imged" barred rock. the first one defneitly has the same distinctive beak profile. the second one has a an extra toe, similar to that of a silkie. is that a cochin characteristic?
Cochin 'shouldnt' have an extra toe but Hatcherys don't typically breed show birds either. Silkies have black skin. He doesn't look like anything the really is supposed to have an extra set of toes. If it only has the one, I'd say it was just a deformity.
The site says it's a combination of "rarest of rare assortment" and "Top hat special"... I was going to say the first looked like a barred rock, but if that's what these are they shouldn't be including a barred rock.
Rarest of rare:
Sumatras, Dominiques, Golden Laced Wyandottes, Silver, Golden, Buff Laced, and White Polish, Golden Campines, Golden Penciled Hamburgs, Silver Penciled Rocks, Partridge, Black, Buff, Blue, & Silver Laced and White Cochins, Araucanas, Dark and Buff Brahmas, Phoenix, Fayoumis, Salmon Faverolles, W. L. Red Cornish, Lakenvelders, Black and White Langshans, Red Caps, Silver Leghorns, Crevecoeurs, Silver Gray Dorkings, Modern BB Red Games, Sultans, Buttercups, & Spanish...
top hat:
White Crested Black Polish, Buff Laced Polish, Golden Polish, Silver Polish, White Polish, Mottled Houdans, Crevecoeurs, and Sultans
In theory, they should all be in the above list. Maybe your first one is a dominique?
If the 4th one has a red head as a chick, and now she's all gray/black, I'd guess fayoumi
