Help me identify this breed

Hello i recently bought 5 chickens ...4 hen and 1 rooster ....
Please help me identify their breed ...
They were sold to me as aruacanas ..but i have aruacanas and they look different (rumpless,tuffs etc...)

Are you in the US or the UK? I assume you are in the US since you said that araucana were rumples and tufted.
Honestly, these look like UK splash araucana.... BUT... If you're in the US? I'd bet they're from somebody trying to recreate that.

So.... in my opinion, you have UK standard Araucana... and if you have the tufted/rumpless.... you ALSO have the US standard! So cool! I want the UK ones so bad, cause they're so interesting looking with those crests!

So now i have the US and the UK standarts?? !! Wow thats nice !! I was afraid they were a cross ...
Yes the crest is super interesting !
My rumpless aruacanas dont have crests ...


By the way... .Do you know anything about breeding aruacanas ?
My rumpless aruacanas are so hard to breed ..none of the eggs are fertile ! Last year i hatched only 3 eggs ..!!
I tried to trim their feathers but its not working ...

Ooh I loved being in Israel for a gap year. @Akrnaf2 is in Israel and I believe he has Araucanas.
The tailed clean faced ones may be culls from a breeder.

Im so glad you enjoyed your time in israel !
There arent many aruacana breeders in israel !
My top favorite breeds are the aruacana and the marans ..
i love their egg color..
it is very hard to find a good breeding line in israel..
I am lucky to have my aruacanas ..from my understanding they are rare ...
I am still trying to find marans although i gave up on them a long time ago after buying many pullets/hens/chicks and have them all laying light brown eggs ...

Also if you notice some of the aruacanas in the picture have a crest and some dont...
And there is also one pullet that is a bit different than the others her eyes and feathers are darker and she doesnt have pink bare skin around her eyes and beak...

Yes that darker pullet has some fibro melanism genes.
