Here are some pictures of my sweet baby...

And another. Buffy just let us get the baby out from under her and take her/him out for a second.

    So help me please.
On a side note, I don't know what breed it is at all, I got the eggs from an Amish guy.
If you go here... https://www.backyardchickens.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=5209 you can see the chick hatching. You will notice the color of the egg is a little dark.

If you can't see it there, check herehttps://www.backyardchickens.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=5216

How absolutely adorable!!! How are you going to tell them apart anyway? [IMG] I have a buff orp I recently had to name. I named her Taffy but wish I'd named her Goldie Hawn now! Anyway, I'm thinking names that have to do with their color (although they'll probably change color when their grown) - Honey, Caramel, Molasses, etc.

Maybe you should name him/her something that coinsides with the day she hatched. Something in Spanish maybe? Heres a few I came up with and their meanings and pronunciations:

    Girl names

    Anna (ah-nah)
    Adora (ah-door-ah)- means "adored"
Amanda- is the Spanish translation for the Latin word for "loveable"
    Aurora (ah-roar-ah)- Spanish for "dawn"
Che (shay)- A Spanish form of 'welcome'

    Boy names

Alejandro (ahlah-hahn-dro)- Spanish form of Alexander
Andre (ahn-dray)- Spanish form of Andrew

I'm a horse lover and like the Kentucky Derby idea. Perhaps name the chick Barbaro, cool name that nobody else will have and honor a beautiful horsie at the same time.

I am at ther library and I just saw the pictures. Your baby is just gorgeous. Maybe it is another buff? I hope so. I hope it is a pullet too. What a great mother's day gift to you and Buffy.
