Help me out with this Mystery Rooster

I have some people dropping this 1 year old rooster off tomorrow. Anyone recognize the breed?

Youre not putting him in the pot are you ? He is a top quality speckled sussex. I'd get some hens for him to breed with!

I agree, he's a Speckled Sussex rooster.

If you keep him and breed him to a non-speckled hen, remember speckling is recessive, so the chicks may not be near as colorful as you'd think.
