So I got two chicks as a trade in for a surprise rooster from my chicken lady and she says both are Partridge Rocks. They look so different that I just don't see how thats possible. They are roughly the same age, probably 2/3 days apart and they are just so different. The smaller one with a darker head I do think is a Partridge Rock but the lighter/more ginger one with black barring on its feathers I have no clue![IMG]

No but I can take some! Give me a few minutes to wrangle them and shut the cat away.

There you go! Hopefully this helps. They just have the pinkish-white chick coloured legs so far. They both have paler belly fluff.

Maybe I should just wait until they're a bit older and post again then.

Ok, I've taken some updated pics. Unfortunately the smaller chick passed away later that day, our Chicken lady offered to give us a replacement chick because it had only been 2 days since we got her. So now they will be about 4/5 weeks old according to her. I think that the bigger one is a buff Brahma but his legs arent really feathering and the smaller chick is possibly a speckled sussex. Her legs are very pink and she has a mix of white and brown feathers. I'm hoping no-one is an EE but I have acknowledged it's a possibility.

Haha, They are just in the middle of that gangly teenage stage right now! They are very pretty though, I'm just so impatient about wanting to know!!!!
