Help Mites or lice on my chicks, mamma

I've found quick little bugs straw colored on my chicks and mamma and they are in the coop so my whole flow has been exposed what is safe to use on chicks only days old on up to layers and rooster and how to treat the coop/ run Safe and effective!

Hi Britney - I use a spray product called "Poultry Protector" made by MannaPro. I have found it kills bugs on your chickens instantly and it is non - toxic. However it is not for chicks under 10 days old, I would not spray any baby chicks with anything at this age. Just wait until they are a couple of weeks old and then you will be ok on the chicks. The adults can be sprayed anytime and the coop also. I get the product from my local feed store but you can just google it and find it in your location. It is a very common product.

Oops I've been treating them with that every couple of days to keep the bug load down they seem fine with it no issues so far

If you use the medication and it still persists try taking them to an avian veterinarian.

the straw colored bugs are lice, you're in for some real work to get rid of them.
