HELP! My 1 day old silkie chick has its neck tucked in/curled

hi there, I am new to hatching chicks, this is my first time. My eggs hatched yesterday and I have one chick who’s neck is curled in! I live in New Zealand and Newcastle disease doesnt even exist here, and apparently chicks can’t be born with mareks disease and I don’t have any other poultry. I don’t know what to do or what it could be. It developed a few hours after it hatched. He can’t walk very well but his legs seem strong. The neck crookedness severity tends to come and go, sometimes it looks terrible and then it’s looks almost fine and then back to bad. Does anyone have any ideas on what it is and what I should do?

Try giving your chick 400IU Vitamin E and 1/4 tablet B-Complex daily. The symptom you describe sounds like Wry Neck. Hopefully the vitamins will help.
