HELP! My Barred rock has a growth above her eye!

We noticed this growth above her eye the other day. Was hoping that it was an insect bite but it's still there with no change. Can anyone help me with this? Treatment? She is fine in every other way. It doesn't seem to bother her. I read somewhere about worms in the eye but did not see anything else in her eyes.

There's not a vet that treats chickens anywhere close and really couldn't afford that anyway. Really need some guidance.

Yes it could be worms, Try to give her Antibodies. If it doesn't work I highly recommend bringing her to a vet, the Growth could grow and she might loose a eye.

If you try to gently push on it, it might just come off. It could just be a Cyst. If it is Swelling really bad, then take her to the vet. You could try flushing it out with normal saline. If you bring her to the Vet, they could give her medication for it.
