HELP MY CHICK IS INJURED WHAT DO I DO

    I'm an in experienced chick owner. It's only a few days old and it keeps trying to walk with its one feet while the other is retracted. (It doesn't really walk it just flops) Im not sure if the injury is internal and I don't have a proper vet nearby [​IMG]

    I have alrd put a post under the emergency thread. Hopefully someone can help. All the vets in my area only do cats and dogs

    So sorry about your baby. Many times chicks and chickens can overcome all kinds of disabilities as long as the chick can still eat and drink. You might keep him right near the food and water so he has access to it all the time. Watch that he doesn't get trampled by the others. He may get through this, but watch that he is not suffering later on down the road as you may need to put him down. I hope he does make a full recovery. [​IMG]
