    [IMG] UPDATE!!! [IMG]

She looks better! Shes more alert, walking around, eating. I haven't seen her drink yet.

I went into the coop this morning, and saw the black bantam was sick. She got to cold. Her wings are dropy and she is very tired. I think shes going to die.

    What can I do???

Bring her inside, give her water with electrolytes- keep her in a warm dark place. I hope she recovers!

I am not sure that was caused by being to cold??

    We need more clues....
How old is she? If a layer has she been laying? Breathing assessment? Eating and Drinking? Stool color? Go to the index and under emergency and illness, there is a sticky to help you know what data is needed so others can help you.

    Sorry she is ill. [IMG]

Also go to the search up above. And type in chickens with colds. There is a bunch of info that could help you there. I hope it gets better fast. Please keep us informed. Good luck. [IMG]

Unless she was under feathered and and less than 5 weeks old your South Dakota weather wont effect her. Low's of 40 F is nothing for a feathered chicken. It must have been something else going on.
