Hi there, I have six backyard chickens which 3 are ex battery hens, the other day whilst cooking I heard a tapping sound & my cook was eating clumping cat litter from the box!:(
She is now looking like she is struggling to swallow & her tail feathers are droopy although she is still eating & drinking... She's not herself:(:(:(

    Please can anyone help me.

I'd probably try a small amount of molasses as a laxative, and of course plenty of fluids.

Ah, if she's better, she'll probably pull through just fine.

I promise you there is, you just don't call it molasses. You probably call it treacle.
