O.k. I'm in florida and it's cold right now. My fingers are spliting and hurting. Right now I'm using corn huskers lotion. Does anybody have any other suggestions? Sorry to sound like a wimp, but they are really hurting.
I have recently discovered Vaseline petroleum jelly cream deep moisture lotion to combat the increased dryness from washing dishes at work. Supposedly it has 18-hour moisturization, vitamin E, and is fragarance free. Dh says it doesn't have a scent. I swear it smells and smells nice!! I have a hyper-sensitive nose sometimes It does soak in pretty quick and has been the only thing to really help me out with the dishpan hands. I use it every night before bed, and occasionally during the day.
Quote:Lather it on your hands and put socks on your hands before you go to bed. Or gloves if you have some thin ones.
Quote:Ooooh, good one Debi! Bag Balm is wonderful stuff, too! I use it on my excema. Of all things THAT works.
Quote:We have Pulvex vet ointment here, it's the same thing as bag balm essentially. I grease my hands up and the DH puts socks on my hands. I sleep with them on. I work in the food industry too, wash a lot of dishes..
