My Hen isn't feeling well. I noticed only two of my three girls were out yesterday morning. Went to check and sure enough she was still in the coop at 11:00 am. I was able to get her out long enough to check her out and she looks fine except she is having watery light brown poop. It's all over her bottom. Her face is pale. When she did come out she got in to the sun and crouched down until I picked her up. While walking around she just kinda picks at nothing, and walks. This is the second day. I'm afraid if it goes on any longer she will get weak and so on. Please Help I have no clue what to do.

How old are your hens? Have you ever wormed them, or treated them for coccidiosis with Corid? Symptoms of coccidiosis are lethargy, weakness, poor appetite, diarrhea with or without blood, standing or sitting puffed up, and ruffled feathers. I would probably worm her with Valbazen or SafeGuard Liquid Goat wormer 1/2 ml orally, then repeat in 10 days. Then I would consider treating for cocci with Corid (amprollium) in the water for 5 days. Here's some info on cocci: http://www.the-chicken-chick.com/2012/12/coccidiosis-what-backyard-chicken.html

I was actually just reading about the
coccidiosis. Sounds pretty scary. I'm going out now to look her over again.
