Help my Rouen Drake has a crusty face

I'm hoping that someone may be able to help. My drake has a crusty face between his eyes and nostrils... It's all stuck in the feathers and caking them together. It's kind of a greenish color... I can't tell if it's actually a growth or if he just managed to get some damp bedding crusted there.

Can you let him swim in some nice warm water so he can really wash his head good? is his eyes draining or his nose?

Yes, I can put him in he bathtub with some warm water. The crust is quite hard though... have you ever heard of this before?

No but thats doesn't mean it hasn't happened. Do you see any discharge from his eyes or his nares? snotty discharge would make the bedding stick to it and turn hard.
