HELP my turkey cut her thumb bad!!

My turkey cut her self on something and her thumb is and pad on her bottom of her foot are cut badly and is bleeding pretty bad. how do I clean it and can I rap her foot. I have blukote but I always have that stuff around its good stuff. Any help is very appreciated. Thanks.

Put pressure on the cut for at least 5 mintutes to help stop bleeding. Feet are difficult to stop bleeding since they are down and being used. Apply some flour or blood stop powder to help it clot.If the cut is significant, it may need some Betadine or Vetericyn spray. Bacitracin or plain Neosporin ointment are good for wound care twice a day. Wrapping it in a little gauze and vet wrap strips, or even bandaids might keep the dirt out while it heals.

The bleeding stopped I have blu-kote on it and have it wrapped and she is doing very well now. It's getting better slowly. Thank you hope this never happens again but if it does your advice will be very useful.
