Help on color: Chick from Partridge x White Silkies UPDATED 12/30

    This little darling was hatched this morning. Daddy is a partridge silkie. Mama is a white hatchery silkie. This chick looks good, good crest, correct number of toes.

    Did I end up with a white from this pair?

    Had to say that the mother is one pretty hatchery silkie! [​IMG]

    I think the baby might be a washed out partridge colour. Not sure yet though. Harder to tell at this age.

    I wondered if it was too early to tell. I'm just so darn happy to have my first chick!

    Well, if it ends up white, you know that Papa carries a copy of white. At this point I am not sure on what colour it will be...

    Updated pics: Looking whiter at this age. Chick is 3 weeks old here. Also, is it ok the crop is a little over to the right rather than centered?
