Help on floor for covered run, chickens digging up cherry tree roots

Finally got a picture of my cherry tree. This is taken from our very top deck so that I could include the coop and the tree. I hope this works because I haven't done this before on the forum. You'll also get a view of a few of the mountains of Vancouver in the background. Hope all is well with you. We have had a really cold spring and now just getting a bit of warmer weather but still 4 degrees at night, so no tomato planting yet. We have succeeded in redoing the dirt in the coop and things seem fine now. Chickens fine and hopefully cherries this summer. Thanks again for all your assistance. Penny
