It's pasty butt. I personal pull it off gently. It'll have a bare butt for a while but won't happen again either. Or you can rub it off with a warm damp rag. If you don't get it cleaned off, its fatal.

soak a cotton ball or something in warm water and hold it on her bum to loosen the poop. do this over and over until it loosens.. use a wet cotton swab to gently wipe away the poop. be very gentle.. you don't want to cause any tears to her bum. once clean i like to swab their vent with coconut oil to help prevent this. make sure you check them to make sure it doesn't continue to happen and cause any issues.

This can happen to any chick, but is more common with shipped chicks or ones that are kept too hot. Make sure that your chicks have areas with multiple temperature ranges so that they can choose their comfort areas. Chicks raised with hens spend most of the day running in and out from under the hen. They don't have to be kept at constant high temps. I have never seen a broody raised chick with pasty butt.

She seems to be doing better today. I've checked her all night and I haven't seen anything stuck in her bum. Thanks for the help. But do you think this can happen again??

It can happen again.. Don't drive yourself crazy, but check their bottom one or twice a day when you are near them. I had this issue and someone suggested putting apple cider vinegar (I love braggs organic) in their water and once I did I never had to clean their bottoms again.
