His comb is large and fat, even for a 4 week old.
His legs are extremely thick, another roo trait.

He almost looks like a meat bird of some sort. Not many
4 week old roos mature that fast.

mostly because they are young and the comb is REALLY red AND big, and a pullet would have a more smaller pinkish comb at that age.

For a breed i would guess a Buff orpington, BUT i see some whiteish (?) feathers coming in..?

The comb is too large at that age to be a girl. Plus the feathers at his neck (the hackle) are pointy, and soon they will be shiny and really really pretty!! Eventually the feathers above his tail will get pointier too, and the waddles (the flaps under his chin) will get longer and get redder.

I love my Buff Orpingon Roos. He'll "probably" be nice and gentle. You'll want to handle him a lot at this age and as he gets older so he knows you are the boss.

good luck

When the Buffs lose their baby feathers and start to fill out, their undercoat of white fluff stands out, but that will eventually sluffff off and they will be all buff.

Have I mentioned I love Buff Orpingtons?!?!
