I am a new backyard chicken person. I have a hen that the inside of the upper beak area is swollen and has filled the area of the upper beak. Anyone with suggestions? Thank you in advance.

To me it looks like Canker. @Eggcessive or @casportpony may have other opinions/comments as to what it is and dosage amounts. If you have a vet they may have better meds, but you can try the Metronidazole 250mg; one tablet a day for 5 days.
If she has difficulty eating/drinking then you may need to tube feed her, you don't want to let her get weak.
