So I have 2 Polish hens that are white egg layers. I get 2-3 eggs a day with them. I also have 9 other second generation red sex links in the same run. I know that one is a rooster because he crows. The others I'm waiting to hear crows but none yet. This morning I went out to collect eggs and I found 1 white egg. And then off to the side I found a flimsy soft brownish egg. Could something be wrong with my white laying polish hens to make a brownish flimsy egg? Or is one of my sex links laying?

Um.... probably another bird.
How old are birds?
What is a "second generation red sex link"?
