Help please

got this chicken being told it was a hen at about 3 and a half months. It's about 5 to 5 and a half months old now . Anyone know if this is gonna be a hen or rooster, and what breed it is? Thanks

I've heard from different friends of mine that have had chickens a while say it's gonna be a rooster a some say a hen so if you could clarify that'd be great

At 5.5 months, that's more than enough time for a cockerel to develop pointed wing and hackle feathers. Your bird has rounded hen wing and hackle feathers. A cockerel by that age should have pointy curved tail feathers.

Did you ask your friends what characteristics tell them it is a boy?

I don't know what the breed is but just assuming it is a New Hampshire Red - look at the difference between hens and roosters on the following link.

Can you get a broadside picture without the wire in the way. I'm getting a rooster feeling. Its got a roosters build to me.

I'm seeing quite a bit of male specific feathering. Pretty sure that's a boy.
