help please?

today I got 3 new chicks from the Amish farmers market, and the man i got them from told what kind they were (the black ones) but i cant remember.....
and I forgot to ask what kind the lil brown one is soooooooooo can someone please help me out?

I am not real happy with the black ones so far far cuz all my other chickens have been so people friendly and these black ones really do not want to be touched ...

and these two are the 2 I started with i think one is a RIR hen and the other I dont know what kind he is...

so any one got any ideas??

Black Australorps ?

i was hoping they were barred rocks... when i first saw them...

Sorry, they're not Barred Rocks. Those would have a spot on their head. They look like either Black Australorps or Jersey Giants possibly.

The black ones look like Black Australops. The little brown/grey one looks like it might be brown leghorn. The white and red rooser looks like a red sex-link rooster and the hen is either a RIR or a production red. Hope this helps. Black Australops take some handling to get them used to people, at least that has been my experience.

Your big white one is a Red Star (red sex-link) rooster.
