Help!! Quail problem.

    Hello everyone!! I love keeping my chickens but I want to keep Quail to does anyone know if it is legal to keep them?? I live in malvern Arkansas, can I order some from a breeder or not??

    I live in indiana but I have never heard of it not being legal for someone to own quail.Around here they are easy to find from private breeders and a few hatcheries ever carry them

    I'm wondering the same thing. I have heard from one person about needing a license, but I wonder if that applies to the poultry quail.

    I believe it may differ from state to state. You don't need one in Indiana. The OP has likely figured everything out by now as this thread is months old

    I now know in Arkansas u can have any kind of quail without a license except bob whites and one other breed that I cant remember... lol im getting six bobwhites this spring and am exited!!!!

    Awesome! I'm sure Coturnix aren't one you would need a license for since they aren't considered game like the bobs.
