My husband thinks we have white leghorn chickens. They were yellow chicks when we got them and their feathers came in very white. They are only about 7 months old and their heads are now turning a biscuit color and some of the feathers around their wings are doing the same. They also don't lay white eggs. They lay brown with white speckles. I think it may be a cross breed? I'm not sure. I'll attach some pictures in a few minutes. Thanks!

Not Leghorns if they are laying brown eggs that's for sure.

Hmm, if they didn't have the brown on the tip I would say white Rocks.

Are you sure the feathers aren't just dirty? Trying to narrow down the options. Here is a picture of my White Rocks:

I'm positive they aren't dirty. :) they are very goldeny, almost like a perfectly baked biscuit. Haha!
