HELP sex my bantam birchin cochin ???

I hatched one burchin cochin out of 6 eggs-he is 3 months old and a sweetie pie!!! We call him JJ-is he really a he or a she??? same one in both pictures-I've never heard him crow yet-and my sizzle whos 1 month younger is crowing up a storm!!!

I'd say that is a male as well. From my experience with birchen- the females usually have the white around their neck, and the males get color on their back too. I've only had a few- but that was how they feathered out.

ETA- now that I look at her again- he/she almost looks like a cross between birchen and silver penciled.

Looks like a hen to me. Most bantam Cochin roos get a larger, red comb real early. And, they start to crow very early as well.
