Hi! I got 3 chicks I'd like to get opinions on their sex. I have a black sex link, comet, and cinnamon queen. I *think* I know what they are but I'm totally curious and want to see if I am right or not.

Thank you! That what the sign at the place I bought them from said.If they are those breeds all are females
Yes. But the 2 have a more specific name? Cinnamon queen and comet, right? And the other is just a bsl. Can you tell this is my first time? Those are all sexlinks.
Chicken names can be confusing! All 3 of your chickens are sex-links. The cinnamon queen & golden comet are just specific varieties of sex links. When some birds are crossed, the males and females will have different colorings so you can tell what gender they are at birth.Yes. But the 2 have a more specific name? a sexlink is a mixed breed chicken that has parents that are two different colors (the boys will have colors like the mom and girls will take after daddy) so you can visually tell the boys and girls apart at hatch. The different names are usually differ from hatchery to hatchery but the breed combos are usually the same (red purebreed x barred purebreed or red x white etc)Yes. That's what I was thinking regarding the names. So, these are, in fact, all females?Chicken names can be confusing! All 3 of your chickens are sex-links. Congratulations on your new chicks! They should give you lots of eggs in a few months!
