Just as it says in the title, I need help sexing my welsummers. I have 4 and they are all 3 weeks old and three have tailfeathers, chest feathers, and are big, and then one has no tail feathers or anything other than wing feathers. No combs yet, and my other 3 chicks are also feathered well. Got them from mypetchicken and they were females not straight run but I'm curious to see if they're wrong.

Pictures would be a huge help. 3 weeks is still very young for sexing. Tail feathers are not really an indicator for sex. I have a young rooster who first grew all the other feathers on his body and wings and then only started getting tail feathers. They aren't very long yet and still need some time to grow. One indicator that might be a tiny bit more helpful is their attitude. Roosters "usually" start acting up and fighting. Females may also do this from time to time though. So the best way would be to post some pics for us to look at!
Good luck

Pics would make it easier, but if the hackle and saddle feathers are pointy and they have black on their chests, they're roos.
Rounded hackle and saddle feathers and a salmon-colored breast = pullet.

Welsummers are fairly easy to sex as day olds. Pullets will have distinct eyeliner and a bold "V" on the top of their heads.
Cockerels lack the distinct "V"; it's there, but its often not as clear/bold and a bit lighter.
