Hello,

Any help would be appreciated.

18 weeks old. No cockle-a-doodle-doing and although larger than others in the coop, quite timid.

Feathers are brighter and different shaped - especially around neck and tail feathers

No idea on breed so that could be why bigger/feathers different.

Thanks!

Hi I don't have an answer for you, but I do have aquestion. I can not figure out how to post a question on a forum! ! Help! Thanks

2 for boy - thanks! Do you think he will crow if he hasn't yet? Or be less timid?

Peepsmama, this was my first, I clicked on the arrow at the top right of screen and did from there (I'm on an ipad) good luck!

It just depends on the rooster really. I had one crow as early as 6 weeks and one as late as 8 months.

Wow 8 months.....time will tell I guess! Another question, if he is a he as seems the common thought, when will he start showing interest in the girls?

Cockerel, and mine started showing interest in the female flock mates at about 16 weeks.
