Hi, I’m not sure if I have a cockerel or hen here— this one is 7 weeks old, the rooster in our mixed flock is a Black Copper Marans and hen was either an Easter egger or ameraucana (we have both). What do you think? I’m leaning toward cockerel but it looks more feminine than its siblings.

Oh sorry I guess I don’t know very much about coloring of olive eggers!😬 It’s comb just looks so pink whereas my cockerels have bright red combs at this age! And my pullets have pretty big combs!😨 It just looks more shaped like a pullet as well! But I would say listen to the experts!😱😉 So sorry if I mislead you!😔

We all make mistakes, a few days ago, the entire gender squad messed up on the gender of a pair of chickens...except one member. There are always "those" birds.
